Swimming Pool Cleaner Selections

I have found from my years of servicing pools in the Keller, Arizona area it can be difficult while a consumer to make a choice on an automatic swimming share cleaners. When I first began my company in 2004 I would make minor adjustments for you to a home owners pool cleaner and look at it operate again and again, in order to make sure the cleaner would take action's job. So after spending a lot of time reading service manuals, observing automated swimming bath cleaners or physically seeing a home owners purchase from day 1 never maintain their pool. I made our minds up to help people make a wise and educated choice when you are looking at their investments in their backyards. There are many options when it comes to swimming pool cleaners in the market today it will be confusing at times.

Pressure Side Cleaner
There are two categories of machine-controlled pressure side cleaners boosted and non-boosted cleaners. The booster pump models have a separate pump and motor from the swimming pool pump. They require a minimal amount of water from this pool pump, the low volume involving water is sent to the cleansing agent pump and boosted to operate the particular pool cleaner. These in my view are the best cleaner for almost any swimming pool application. They are simple operate, clean the pool the well and most can handle large amounts of debris with no affect on this swimming pool cleaning equipment. My favored cleaner happens to be a Polaris 280, they have a large throat for leaves and trash. They have few moving parts that will equals to shorter down times because of maintenance. The Polaris 280 cleans in diving and play pools well. I have found that a 4 wheeled cleaner such as the Lerto Legend by Pentair can outshine the 280 cleaner when the design of the pool is square in shape.

The non-boosted pressure side cleaners operate off of your pool heart. They take a portion of the water that is returned to the swimming pool along with direct it to the pool cleanser. These can work well but often times have problems in a pool with water features that command the return water to operate, including a spa spill over. The other problem to these type cleaners is that the water returning to your pool just isn't flowing through the pool return aircraft and can begin to cause circulation problems. by not keeping the mineral water turbid enough to prevent algae development. It is can be an uncomplicated process in most swimming pools to convert to a boosted pressure side cleaner by changing out the cleaner head, re-plumbing related, adding a booster pump and time clock.

Suction Cleaners
Suction cleaners operate on the rationale of suction much like a vacuum. They require a dedicated line for suction or a skimmer outlet is used. They are good cleaners and can pick up very fine debris in a swimming pool. No separate pump to operate no extra time clock can all relate to more money in parts and higher energy cost. However I feel their not very good in a pool with a large amount of pool debris. Your leaves that get sucked up visit a separate canister or to the share pump basket. The other down side is most tend to do very well only in a pool with no deep end more of an even depth such as a play pool. I also don't like the fact that you might be using the suction from the pool area equipment to operate. You loose most of your skimmers ability to skim the most notable of the pool. My belief will be the more you skim off the the top of pool the less you will have got falling in your pool, that could be hard to achieve if your cleaner is taking up your skimmer.

Choices
There are choices to be produced in a purchase of an automatic pool clean and if your building your pool area its a good time to look at most of these options. If your pool is witout a doubt built your options are limited for your pocket book for most people. I really hope this article can help you using your decision in future purchases or essential operating knowledge.
